VeriFi CCTV Compliance - the complete audit & assessment service

  • Annual Audit & Assessment

    Why Bother?

If you do not comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act you could be liable to a substantial penalty (maximum £500,000). More likely if CCTV evidence you rely on does not comply with the law it could be successfully challenged, your costs and embarrassment could be significant!

British Standard Code of Practice 7958:2009 calls for an Annual Independent Audit (4.4) and in the case of Public Space an Annual Report (4.5) is considered necessary. Both issues are dealt with as standard features of the VeriFi CCTV report.

  • The annual Management Audit and System Assessment together with your CCTV Policy Review are important elements of the VeriFi CCTV service. Ongoing legal compliance is checked and system efficacy is measured relative to the current level of risk. The summary to the VeriFi report details non compliant issues and a Key Performance Indicator scores as a percentage which automatically resets as remedial actions are noted by the client.

Without this routine attention to detail your CCTV could eventually become ineffective and fail to comply with the Law.
